On 9 December 2025, Active Yourope held the “Erasmus+ in My Community” workshop, dedicated to disseminating Erasmus+ mobility experiences.
On 9 December 2025, Asociația Active Yourope held the workshop “Erasmus+ in My Community”, an activity dedicated to disseminating Erasmus+ mobility experiences and making the most of the results achieved through the association’s European activities in the field of adult education.
The event brought together trainers, learners and members involved in Asociația Active Yourope’s activities, offering an open space for dialogue, reflection and the exchange of best practices. The workshop aimed to bring the concrete impact of the Erasmus+ programme closer to the local community, by presenting the learning experiences, the skills developed and the way these can be integrated into the association’s current educational activities.
During the meeting, participants discussed the role of Erasmus+ mobilities in the personal and professional development of adults, the importance of lifelong learning and the ways in which European experiences can generate positive change at local level. The trainers involved in the association’s activities shared examples of educational methods, tools and approaches discovered in international contexts, highlighting their relevance to working with adults and to adapting the educational offer to the community’s current needs.
The “Erasmus+ in My Community” workshop was also a moment to analyse the results achieved through participation in mobility activities, with an emphasis on the transfer of knowledge, the strengthening of digital skills, the development of key and transversal competences, and the increase in the organisation’s capacity to work in European partnerships.
An important element of the meeting was the shared reflection on how the results of Erasmus+ projects can be multiplied and adapted in local educational activities. Participants identified ideas for future initiatives, training activities, information sessions and community actions that can help promote non-formal education, inclusion, active participation and European cooperation.
The “Erasmus+ in My Community” workshop showed that European experiences gain real value when they are shared, discussed and turned into concrete initiatives for the community.
