Privacy Policy

Who we are

Asociația Active Yourope (“we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are an adult-education association based in Craiova, Romania, and an accredited Erasmus+ KA1 training provider (PIC 920525151 · OID E10102554).

You can reach us about anything in this policy at office@activeyourope.ro.

We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and Romanian data-protection law.

What we collect

When you send an inquiry through a course page, we collect:

  • the details you enter - your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, organisation or school, and a message;
  • the course and session you are interested in;
  • your consent to this policy; and
  • limited technical context that helps us answer you and understand where inquiries come from: the page you submitted from, your site language, and campaign parameters (UTM tags) if you arrived through a campaign link.

We do not ask for special categories of data (such as health or political views). Please don’t include them in your message.

  • To respond to your inquiry and follow up about the course - based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering and keeping a record of enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To protect the form from spam and abuse - based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f)). This uses Cloudflare Turnstile (see “Cookies”).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers (“processors”) that help us operate the inquiry process, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Monday.com (monday.com Ltd) - our CRM, where we record and manage your inquiry.
  • Microsoft - Azure Communication Services - sends a copy of your inquiry to our office inbox.
  • Microsoft - Azure Static Web Apps - hosts this website and runs the form’s processing function.
  • Cloudflare - provides the “Turnstile” anti-spam check on the form.

Some of these providers may process data outside Romania or the EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry for as long as we need it to respond and follow up with you, and until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your rights”). Within our organisation, your inquiry is accessible only to authorised Active Yourope staff who handle course enquiries and enrolments.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies in the following ways - and analytics only with your consent.

Strictly necessary. The Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam check may set a security-related cookie when you interact with the inquiry form, and a first-party cookie (ay-consent) remembers your cookie choice for about 6 months.

Analytics - only if you accept. If you enable Analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device type, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. We use this solely to improve the site and our courses - not to build advertising profiles. Some data may be processed by Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation in the United States under the EU adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Marketing. We currently use no marketing or advertising tags. The banner’s Marketing category is reserved for possible future Erasmus+ outreach campaigns; if we ever enable such tags, we will update this policy first.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the page footer. Declining analytics does not limit the website in any way.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to erase your data;
  • restrict or object to our processing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out); and
  • receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email office@activeyourope.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) - dataprotection.ro.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
