Inclusive Tech: Integrating Diversity and Technology in the Classroom
Radu Tătaru attended the Erasmus+ course “Inclusive Tech” in Porto, focused on inclusive education and technology in the classroom.
Between 22 and 28 July 2024, a representative of Asociația Active Yourope, Radu Tătaru, took part - under the Erasmus+ programme, project no. 2023-1-RO01-KA121-ADU-000146934 - in the training course Inclusive Tech: Integrating Diversity and Technology in the Classroom, held in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal.
The course was organised by the Blue Beehive Educational and Cultural Association and aimed to develop educators’ skills in inclusive education and in the use of technology in teaching.
It was designed to inspire continuous professional development and innovation in teaching practices, ensuring that educators are prepared to meet the challenges of an increasingly diverse and digital educational landscape.
Main objectives of the course
- Defining and applying the principles of inclusive education: participants learned to create equitable learning opportunities and to promote educational equity, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment for all learners.
- Selecting and using educational technology tools: the course built skills in identifying and using technology tools that support differentiated learning and accessibility for learners with diverse needs.
- Implementing interactive and collaborative technology-based tools: participants gained skills in using digital tools that encourage learners’ active engagement and inclusive participation.
- Integrating gamification strategies and adaptive learning technologies: the course included training in applying game-based learning principles and using adaptive technologies to meet the individual needs of learners.
This mobility brought multiple benefits both for the participant and for Asociația Active Yourope:
- Professional development: Radu gained an in-depth understanding of inclusive education principles and practices that he will be able to apply in his training work.

Taking part in this Erasmus+ course had a significant impact on Asociația Active Yourope, helping to improve the quality of the educational programmes it offers.
