Two Active Yourope members attended the Erasmus+ course “Transforming Learning” in Alicante on modern teaching methods for engaging adult groups.

Two members of the Asociația Active Yourope team attended the international course “Transforming Learning - Tools for Engaging Adult Groups”, held between 28 October and 1 November 2024 in Alicante, Spain. The event was organised under the Erasmus+ project, accreditation number 2024-1-RO01-KA121-ADU-000230728, and was hosted by Associació Educativa i Cultural Blue Beehive.
The course aimed to improve teaching methods for adults, with an emphasis on integrating technology and developing modern pedagogical skills. The activities included interactive sessions, practical workshops and group activities designed to give participants a dynamic educational experience.
The main themes of the course
- Professional motivation - the first day was dedicated to reviving the passion for education. Participants explored self-motivation techniques and shared inspirational stories. The workshops encouraged a positive and proactive mindset.
- Personalising the educational process - the second day focused on identifying the individual needs of adult learners. The trainers learned how to create personalised learning plans and stimulate creativity and critical thinking.
- Teamwork and joint projects - on the third day, the focus was on developing teamwork skills. Participants explored methods such as “Think-Pair-Share” and “World Café”, applicable in collaborative projects.
- Technology in education - an important aspect of the course was the integration of digital applications and interactive platforms into the educational process. The workshops included practical demonstrations and the use of modern technologies.
- Creating a positive educational environment - the final days focused on effective communication techniques and managing group dynamics. The trainers learned to create spaces that encourage collaboration, comfort and creativity.
The results achieved
Taking part in this course brought numerous benefits for the trainers:
